This is a really nice run as you are always heading towards land, thanks to the curvature of the peninsula.

You need a south westerly (prevailing direction) for this run.

Head out from the beach to between the St. Tudwal's (give Bear Grills a wave as he owns the lighthouse on one) islands and turn towards the  obvious white buildings of Pwllheli (north-easterly).

There are many options for an early get out as beach forms the majority of the shoreline.
