Start from Goodwick Parrog (beach) to the east of the inner breakwater. 

Public car park with minimal fees.

For 17 km go north west around outer breakwater & out to the end of the rocky headland

Turn east aiming for Dinas Hd (conspic)

Under Cemaes Hd, turn around rock, Cerrig Edrywy then into Newport Sands beach.

For about 13km, set off from Goodwick or Lower Town, straight around Dinas Hd and into Newport or Newport Sands.

Viable with winds from NW to SSW.  -

Ideal is WSW F4-6 (or more to taste!)

Paddle with incoming tide - very important around Dinas Hd.

Courses run well in reverse with winds from NE to ESE.

Paddle with ebb tide - especially around Dinas where a fierce race can spoil your day.
