Weather & more
Works from as little as 12 knots on a SW wind.
Only suitable for intermediate levels and up. Anything over 20 knots it would be elite only.
Beware of tide direction. Don't want too much swell as it would be risky getting into Perranporth.
Long stretches of the course there will be no out, and most beaches will require at least a couple of km of paddling with side-on waves to get to shore.
The best course is to stay out wide, seaside of the stones near Godrevy lighthouse. Don't angle in too soon to Perranporth as backwash will become a nightmare. Stay out wide and take 90 degrees hard into the beach.
