Weather & more
Westerly wind, strength can be any as the run will build. Mainly wind wave short frequency. The course can be inside the lamb or a more committed route can be had outside, north of, the lamb. Transit between the town and the Bass Rock in the far distance and aim to pass on the inside of the Poo buoy. Then take a line towards the radar station on the right hill top. That prominent area later includes Tantallon Castle which forms the natural turn towards the end point Seacliff Beach. Waves can be large here so a surf to the beach can be had though a westerly will generally shelter the beach so landing should be fine.
Apres paddle
The Castle Hotel in Dirleton for an after run debrief....
